Ah... College Days are getting over and its high time, we started seeking jobs.. But Foremost is the need for sending the resume.. If you got a reference in some comapnies, well and Good.. Hope for the Reference to help you up and get the job..
But there are a lot of students who have multiple talents and are still seeking job.. Every company they go, You can hear a common statement.. " SORRY NO FRESHERS ENTERTAINED, WE WANT ONLY EXPERIENCED PEOPLE " ... Whats happening in the much hyped I.T Industry?????
This case happens to those who have low scores either in their S.S.L.C/H.SC/or other Higher Education... This is not to be blamed, serously???? Did the students that there was such a pitfall???
I know, its really tough for a fresher to get a job.. U apply through many sites.., but no response.. In my own words.. "APPLY APPLY, BUT NO REPLY" . Its really painful. At some point of time, you think whats happening.. Am i not fit??? well, dont lose Hope and keep trying...

Technical Interview Questions for Technical Support Enginner
Hi..
Most of the Freshers who pass out of college are too desperate to get into a job(Even, i was).. And in the adrenaline rush, we jump into the call centre or the bpo industry.. I wont say that the call centre or the bpo industry is bad, as every job has its own respect.
For Every interview, there will be a written test, a voice test, and then followed by the HR interview in which they ask HR related questions as well as technical questions.
Whenever you try for Technical support Engineer(TSE) job in a call centre, make sure you have a basic idea of Networking as well the general concepts in windows. I dont assure you that only these questions will be asked, but these are quite a some.
Here are a few Technical Questions :(Make sure that you have an answer for all these)
1. Difference b/w windows xp and windows 98 or 2000
2. what is a firewall and what is its function
3. what are the different classes of Ip?
4. How do u restrict/block specific websites from opening?
5. tell some windows commands / Linux commands
6. why u want to join Technical support since ur qualification is ----?
7. what is MAC address?
8. explain OSI layer
9. what is TCP/IP?
10. difference between tcp/ip layer and OSI layer
11. what is networking?
12. difference b/w WAN/MAN/LAN
13. How will u find the OS version in the machine?
14. how will u assign static ip address
15. ping error codes(This question at the extreme they can ask)
The above questions are basic ones and sometimes they can ask more into windows based. They dont expect much from a fresher.. They look into atitude and how u answer .
