Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me

I walk a lonely road
The only one that I have ever known
Don’t know where it goes
But its home to me and I walk alone
I walk this empty street
On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams
When the city sleeps
And I’m the only one and I walk alone
I walk alone
I walk alone
I walk alone
I walk alone…
My shadow’s only one that walks beside me
My shallow heart’s the only thing that’s beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
Till then I walk alone
Ah-ah, Ah-ah, Ah-ah, Aaah-ah,Ah-ah, Ah-ah, Ah-ah
I’m walkin down the line
That divides me somewhere in my mind
On the border line
Of the edge and where I walk alone
Read between the lines
What’s fucked up and everything’s alright
Check my vital signs
And know I’m still alive and I walk alone
I walk aloneI walk alone
I walk aloneI walk alone…
My shadow’s only one that walks beside me
My shallow heart’s the only thing that’s beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
Till then I walk alone
Ah-ah, Ah-ah, Ah-ah, Aaah-ahAh-ah, Ah-ah
I walk alone I walk alone…
I walk this empty street
On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams
When the city sleeps
And I’m the only one and I walk alone…
My shadow’s only one that walks beside me
My shallow heart’s the only thing that’s beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
Till then I walk alone

Are you satisfied with the day's work you have done today?

Being a part of the Salaried professionals, we have always worked for our organizations. No matter whatever the industry, the employees have been the back-bone in generating the revenue. As an employee, I worked for 8 hours. Maybe, I am not doing justice here, because as employees we have not utilised the exact 8 hours.
Recently, I got a mail, which made me think of the work we do.
Below is the content of the mail:
"IF YOU WERE YOUR OWN EMPLOYER, WOULD YOU BE ENTIRELY SATISFIED WITH THE DAY’S WORK YOU HAVE DONE TODAY?"

At the end of the day, it matters little what others think of you; what’s important is what you think about yourself. As you reflect on your day’s work, ask yourself, Have I given 100 percent of my time and talents today? If this were my company, would I like it to be filled with hundreds of other people just like me, or would I prefer to hire individuals with a little more initiative? When you have become the kind of person you would like to work with or have working for you, you are not far from the day when you will own the company-or at least become a valuable part of it. Most important, you can sleep soundly at night, serene in the knowledge that you have done your best, that you have earned your pay, and that you have met the standards of performance you require of yourself.

How many of us being professionally employed meet the above requirements??
Think about it.

Review - Dasavatharam

The below review is from my own thoughts, after watching the movie.

Being a die-hard kamal Hassan fan tempted me to watch "Dasavatharam"- the Tamil movie. Before going to watch the movie, I had asked the opinions of many. My sister told me not to go near the cinema theatre, as the movie was not at all good. But I couldn't control my urge to watch the "Magnum Opus - Dasavatharam".

The movie has both the commercial and the revolutionary thoughts. Being a K.S.Ravikumar movie(the director of the movie), the movie had all the substance of a commercial south indian tamil movie.. (a bit of action, romance, sentiments). There are times, in which you could really feel the revolutinary ideas of kamal and k.Balachander being poured in.

I will not be narrating the movie here, as there are a lot of reviews on this., I will not say the movie was excellent. It was really over-hyped. But the movie provided a new horizon for tamil cinema. It is a stepping stone. kamal has really worked hard and it has shown in the movie. Changing make-ups to fit 10 roles is a huge effort and kamal has really done it well.

The movie talks about how we human beings make the destiny. The opening scene is perfectly connected to the climax. Nambi believes in his god more than anything, but his wife explains that life is important and its ok if we chant other god’s name. In the climax its different. Govind doesn’t believe in god and values people the most…. but the heroine deeply believes in god and a dialogue comes when both Asin and Kamal’s hand is on the god which came from the sea. It depicts that they are getting united from the place they departed hundreds of years back. This shows the generation circle is joined with supernatural powers of GOD and destiny…..!!!

The main reason for most audience not liking the movie is:

1) Usage of more dravidian tamil and the perfection of kamal to speak in tamil, which most audience fail to interpret.

2) Usage of Butterfly effect and Chaos Theory.

3) Music is really not listening and only 2 songs made justice to the movie.

4) Make-up also couldn't do justice to all the 10 different characters. The villan role, the giant muslim, old grand mother were really irritating.

5) Graphics could have been improved.

My Review: Movie is good and worth watching. I will rate a 3 out of 5.
