Child Labour In India??

Hi..
A very sensitive and crucial Topic is "Child Labour". Child Labour has been increasing in India for a quite long time.. But do the New Generation of GENX care for it????
Perhaps this might be challenging.. But worth it.. We see children of all ages in all most all work places... Are children ready to do those works or are they been thrown into such an extreme situation. We see children in hotels cleaning up the plates or cleaning the table .. Do we who talk much about it, really do care for them.. I have been a silent spectator watching all these.. But it really flashes me, whether i am doing is proper... I know i am Not.
The Questions here are:

1. Do we really care for children ,who have the right for education working in factories and hotels?
2. Even if we care, what steps do we normally take??? Perhaps being a silent spectator...
3. If at all we inform authorities, do they take the necessary action of helping the children??
All these questions just linger into us,.. May be if we take some more responsibilities towards the society, we will be able to restrict child labour..
we have to thank God for the food that we can have easily. But in the other hand.. ironically, we still waste the food that we buy....
When are we going to be Responsible????

Disclaimer from Child Line India:

Caution: We understand there is a chain mail circulating that says - one should call up 1098 to pick up left over food after a party etc so that it is not wasted. We are India's only and most widespread Children's phone emergency outreach service (1098) for children in need of care and protection. We do not pick up food or distribute food. This mail was not initiated by us, kindly do not circulate it. Your cooperation is appreciated.
